Mission
Statement
We
are an inclusive and reconciling Christian
congregation, growing in our discipleship
with Jesus Christ. We aspire to love
God, our neighbors, and ourselves. We
welcome all people to participate in the
life and ministries of this church. We
care for and support one another. We
reach out to our brothers and sisters
near and far.
Our Vision
Where & When is
Sunday Worship?
Our Sunday
morning worship service starts at 9:30 a.m. and
is held at 16 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
Our main entrance is located on Sylvan Street
with an additional entrance located on Chester
Street. Our facility is fully
handicapped accessible.
Parking is
available in the parking lot behind the church
(off of Chester Street), on street parking on
both Chester Street and Sylvan Street and/or
across from the church on Sylvan Street in the
Peabody Institute Library parking lot.
This service is comprised
of a variety of music, a children's moment, a
sermon that connects directly with the scripture
reading for that morning, and time for prayer.
There is a fellowship time that follows the
service where you will have the opportunity to
meet people and learn more about our church.
Study Opportunities for
Adults
Christian
Education classes are held for adults each
Sunday morning from 11:00-12:00. The
topics vary from month to month and a schedule
of these topics are found listed under our Adult
Activities.
What About My
Children?
Childcare is available
each Sunday in our nursery room. All children
start the morning off in our sanctuary and then
are dismissed to their Sunday School class after
the Children's moment. The only exception
to this is the first Sunday of each month where
children attend Children's Church in fellowship
hall starting at 9:30 a.m.
During the summer months
all children start off the morning in our
sanctuary and then are dismissed to Sunday
School.
