Holy Trinity United Methodist Church ~ Danvers MA

Welcome

Holy Trinity United Methodist Church has been in the Danvers community for some 110 years. As a reconciling congregation in the United Methodist Tradition, we are a church which desires to be inclusive and celebrates our diversity. We seek to be faithful to our Methodist heritage of spiritual growth and social witness - faith and works, heart and hand.

If you are looking for a church home, please visit Holy Trinity. People seek out a church for many different reasons. It is our hope that within this website you will find several places and programs that meet your needs. You will be welcome in any of the ones you choose.

The people and staff of Holy Trinity are ready to assist you and would consider it a privilege to be of help. Inspiring worship and adult studies; a vital Sunday School and active youth groups; caring fellowship; and mission and ministries within our church community and beyond our doors locally and globally are hallmarks of Holy Trinity.

Our facilities are used by many groups from Danvers. We are glad to host many programs which enrich the lives of many in our community. Our beautiful sanctuary is a place where celebrations happen that are vital and nourishing for all who come.

Let us help you become a part of what we seek to be and do at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church!

Our Relational Covenant at Holy Trinity.

We will be intentional in our respect for each other and celebrate our differences as we seek to live as a diverse, inclusive community in Christ.

I promise to be aware of who I am as a human being, my limitations and flaws, burdens and gifts; and to acknowledge the humanness of others.

I promise to view myself and others as children of God and therefore I will treat others as equally valued by God.

I promise to give and receive feedback in a constructive and loving manner.

I promise to utilize opportunities to transform negative situations and become a constructive instrument in the process of restoring healthy community.

OUR RECONCILING STATEMENT

All persons are recipients of God's love and grace.

In light of this fact, we, the church family at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, covenant to further acknowledge and implement our Creator's desire to bring all persons into fellowship with God and with one another as children of God.

Toward this end, we welcome and affirm the fellowship, membership and service of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Christians into our church family.

With Christ as our head, we yearn for a world free from fear, hatred and persecution of all, and desire to be a haven for all persons seeking
reconciliation with God and a community of faith.
